Add a spotlight to your page to communicate your program or student's success.

1. Navigate to the page where you wish to place your spotlight.
   
2. Click on Edit on the page actions toolbar.
   
3. Click on the green Main Region button to check out the page.
   
4. Place your text cursor in the editable region where you would like the spotlight to appear.
   
5. Click on the Component to view available components.
   
6. Click on Spotlight to select and then insert.
   
7. Select spotlight(s) from the spotlight system by filling out the form that is provided.
   
   • Campus: West Plains or Springfield
     
   • Campus Wide: yes or no
     
   • Graduate Only: yes or no
     
   • Spotlight Types (optional): Alumni, Student, Faculty, Donor, Staff
     
   • Spotlight ID. How to find that ID:
     
     • Go to the spotlight system.
       
     • Select who you wish to spotlight: All, Alumni, Student, Faculty, Donor or Staff
       
     • Perform a search.
       
     • Take note of the url of the spotlight. The ID will be at the end of the url. Example: https://www.missouristate.edu/Spotlights/spotlightDisplay.aspx?ID=6427
       
     • Enter ID.
       
8. If you wish to feature spotlights for a particular department, select a department ID from the Guide to Unit IDs below.
   
9. Type in the spotlight program names.
   
10. Add other keywords if needed.
    
11. Select the heading level for your spotlight heading.
    
12. Click Save.
