The desired video must be sourced from a YouTube account in order to be displayed.

There are three ways a content editor may include video on their page:
  1. Using the Featured Content with Video component.
  2. Using the Featured Video (standalone) component.
  3. Inserting video directly into your editable region using the WYSIWYG toolbar (this is not recommended as it will not have Missouri State branding applied).

Using the Featured Content with Video Component

The Featured Content with Video component provides support for adding a video alongside your content.

For this component, the required elements are:
  • Headline
  • YouTube video ID
  • YouTube video title
  • Text and a URL for at least 1 button link
There are other elements but they are optional.

Using Featured Video (standalone) Component

The Featured Video (standalone) component embeds a video within your content with Missouri State branding applied.

For this component, the required elements are:
  • Video Title
  • YouTube ID (insert the video or playlist ID)

Finding the YouTube Video ID

The YouTube playlist ID can be found immediately after list= in the full YouTube playlist URL.

Be sure to always include PL at the beginning of the ID.
