How to Optimize Photos for Using Photoshop CC

  1. Crop the photo to the specified dimensions.
  2. Select File Export Save for Web (Legacy).
  3. Select JPEG High from the Preset* dropdown.
  4. Select Save.
  5. Input the desired filename.
  6. Select Save to finish.

* Missing the Preset?
If you do not have the default "JPEG High" preset, you can recreate it using these settings:
  • Optimized file format: JPEG
  • Compression quality: High
  • Quality: 60
  • Optimized: Checked
  • Leave all of the other Preset values as either "unchecked" or "0".
